Our Staff……..
Tiny Town Pre-School is owned and operated by Kim Post. Kim has worked within the early
childhood education industry for over fifteen (15) years, and her commitment in providing a high-
quality early educational program is as strong as ever. She understands the benefits young
children receive from attending preschool, and she continues to work hard to ensure high-quality
programs such as Tiny Town remain available to our young children. Kim believes in order to
stay focused on providing an educational preschool program meeting the needs of today's parents,
it is important to be "hands on" and in control of the Tiny Town's daily operations. Therefore,
Kim works on-site, so she is easily accessible to the staff, parents, and children of Tiny Town.
The remainder of Tiny Town's staff consists of professional individuals trained in
early childhood development. Each member has been carefully selected for their
education, teaching experience and skills, as well as, their caring nature and their
sensitivity to the needs of each and every individual child. Tiny Town is proud to
say a majority of our staff has remained at Tiny Town for eight or more years!
The Administrative Staff, Program Coordinators, and Certified Teachers possess
a minimum of 120 credits in Early Childhood Education. Our teaching assistants possess
numerous credits in Early Childhood Education, as well. Continuing education is extremely
important to the staff of Tiny Town. Therefore, our teaching staff acquires a minimum of eight
(8) hours of training within the early childhood industry each and every year.
The classrooms at Tiny Town are instructed by a certified teacher, as well as, a teaching
assistant. Each classroom consists of sixteen (16) to eighteen (18) students. Therefore, with two
teachers in each classroom, Tiny Town's teacher/student ratio of 1:8 or 1:9 is much lower than
the teacher/student ratio required by the State of NJ.
